The short version is that Okahisa’s job include ensuring that art assets scale properly for various races and models, that animations play correctly and sync up, and that all of the game’s visual assets work well together. He tells tales like ensuring that the game’s swimming animations utilized the proper reference points for characters in the water, since the default configuration scaled height proportional to a character’s feet, completely submerging Lalafell and rendering Roegadyn half-flying.
