The Astros had an opportunity to win their first World Series in franchise history with a victory on Wednesday night, but they did not take advantage of it. Jorge Soler left the game early due to cramping and his replacement didn’t do much better by getting himself ejected in the fifth inning. The Braves took advantage of both events for a 5-4 lead heading into Thursday’s Game 7.
The “jorge soler stats” is a post on social media that Jorge Soler has left the building and gives Braves early lead over Astros in Game 6.
The 2021 World Series will be hosted in Texas after the Houston Astros fought back from a four-run hole in Game 5 against the Atlanta Braves to avoid elimination. The Braves lead the best-of-seven series 3-2 heading into Game 6 on Tuesday.
A Martin Maldonado “Little League bunt” with the bases loaded in the fifth inning against Braves reliever A.J. Minter may have preserved the Astros’ season. Maldonado stepped up to the bat, as if he were a Little Leaguer attempting to fool the pitcher. Maldonado drew a game-tying walk as a result of his strategy.
The Astros added insurance runs in the eighth and ninth innings, courtesy to Yuli Gurriel, Jose Altuve, Alex Bregman, and Carlos Correa.
In Game 6, the Braves turn to Max Fried in an attempt to capture their first World Series victory since 1995. Fried has lost his previous two playoff starts, allowing 11 earned runs in 9.2 innings of work. Luis Garcia will start on short rest after starting and losing Game 3 for Houston.
Here are some of the most memorable moments and plays from Game 6:
The Braves continue to rack up points.
Atlanta maintains their advantage. An Ozzie Albies walk and a Travis d’Arnaud strikeout led to the Braves’ first run of the inning. Dansby Swanson smacked a 94.6 mph fastball from Cristian Javier for 411 feet, putting the Astros up 5-0. Blake Taylor was brought in to replace Javier, and he got Eddie Rosario to ground out before walking Jorge Soler. Atlanta went up 6-0 on a Freddie Freeman double on a fly ball that bounced over the left-center field fence, scoring Soler and increasing the margin. Houston replaced Taylor with Phil Maton, who got Austin Riley to fly out to center field and struck out Kyle Tucker, but it was too little, too late as the Braves extended their advantage in the NLCS. The Braves take an early lead thanks to Soler’s home run.

The Braves take an early lead thanks to Soler’s smash.
With his third-inning home run that put Atlanta up 3-0, Jorge Soler smashed one onto the railroad tracks and into the… Soler System. Garcia hit Soler with a cutter in the dirt, followed by another cutter that Soler swung through to tie the game at 1-1. Garcia made it 3-1 with balls on a four-seamer and a cutter before throwing a strike to finish the inning. After fouling off two pitches, an 80.5 mph slider and a 96 mph four-seamer, Soler blasted an 83.4 mph cutter into the railway tracks at Minute Maid Field on the eighth pitch of the at-bat, hitting the ball 109.6 mph for a distance of 446 feet, putting Atlanta in command of Game 6 with a 3-0 score.

The Astros are getting star backing.
The Astros are hoping to force a Game 7 by enlisting the help of some well-known celebrities. NFL running back Adrian Peterson predicted the outcome of Games 6 and 7, and hip-hop singer Travis Scott was on hand to energize the crowd before the game.

A piece of advice for a new parent
Correa got some crucial parenting advice before concentrating on Game 6. He and his wife are expecting their first kid shortly, and on his podcast “Intentional Talk,” former MLB first baseman Kevin Millar gave him some advice on how to manage diaper duty. Millar has four children of his own, so he’s definitely no stranger to diaper changes.
